[Case Study] Chicken Processing Line

By changing the heating process from direct flame to steam, temperature control has become easier and the worry of fire has been eliminated!

We would like to introduce a case study of the "chicken processing line" developed by Foods Tech Co., Ltd. Previously, gas (direct flame type) was used as the fuel for the kettle that heats the chicken, but it was difficult to make precise temperature adjustments, requiring frequent checks on the internal condition. Therefore, we switched from direct flame to a kettle heated by steam. Now, the amount of steam inflow can be automatically controlled, eliminating concerns about fire hazards since no flames are used. [Overview] ■ Background leading to the introduction - It was difficult to make precise temperature adjustments, requiring frequent checks on the internal condition. ■ Solution - Changed from direct flame to a steam-heated kettle. - Implemented automatic control of the steam inflow (the interior of the kettle is double-walled like a thermos, with high-temperature steam flowing in between). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

IH heating pot (super large to tabletop small)

Instant heating with high-power IH (induction heating) makes temperature adjustment easy.

When current flows through the induction heating coil under the plate, magnetic field lines are generated, and it is this magnetic field that heats the pot itself. Since IH directly heats the pot body, there is almost no energy loss, making it very cost-effective in terms of fuel efficiency (for boiling 20 liters of water under the same conditions: Daihan IH cooker 48.7 yen, time taken 12 minutes; gas flame 86.5 yen, 17 minutes). Furthermore, since it does not use dangerous and troublesome open flames, there is less air pollution and excess waste heat, allowing heating and cooling systems to operate very efficiently, thereby keeping air conditioning costs low. Additionally, savings can be made on overall initial costs due to lighter duct and air conditioning equipment, as well as ongoing running costs such as water bills (which can be reduced by nearly 40%) due to dry factory operations. Simple control via an electronic control panel significantly reduces the number of workers needed, leading to savings in labor costs.
